The integrated LED display makes the Wallbox easy to use and provides information about the charging status or possible error messages at a glance. The Wallbox is protected by an RCD type B residual current circuit breaker and thus meets the highest safety standards. The high-quality plastic housing is suitable for safe outdoor operation of the efuturo Wallbox. The ergonomically shaped Type 2 charging plug and the high-quality, durable cable with a 5-metre range connect the wallbox quickly and easily to your electric or hybrid vehicle. After a brief communication between the wallbox and the vehicle, the vehicle battery begins charging without access control. The built-in electricity meter allows you to read the power consumption. This allows you to monitor your power consumption. Landlords can use the MID-calibrated electricity meter to bill their tenants for the charging current consumption. If you are not using the wallbox, you can store the Type 2 plug in the designated holder to prevent damage to the plug from being run over or similar. While the charging cycle for a Renault Zoe takes around 25 hours using a domestic socket (2.3 kW), it takes around 16 hours with a 3.7 kW Wallbox and just 4.5 hours with an 11 kW Wallbox. It is up to 10 times faster with a 22 kW wallbox, reducing the charging time to approx. 2.5 hours. It should be noted here that our standard household sockets are not designed for the amounts of electricity required to charge electric and hybrid vehicles. Although it is possible to charge vehicles from sockets, this should only be considered a temporary solution. The simple design of the efuturo wallbox saves you from any nasty surprises when you receive your electrician's bill. Your electrician will be very familiar with the components used. The extremely expensive RCD type B residual current circuit breaker is already integrated into the efuturo wallbox. This guarantees you the highest level of safety and means that the circuit breaker does not have to be installed separately in an external switch cabinet by a specialist.
